Kayleigh sighed, closing the food pantry in the kitchen. She turned around and looked at her two-year-old daughter, Taylor just as she threw her sipper cup on the floor. She hated it when Taylor acted up like this. “Taylor Marie Garrison, you are not going to act up today. If you don’t stop, we won’t go to the park,” she said. “No, we go to park,” Taylor said. “Well, then you better stop. Eat and no acting up and then we’ll go to the park.” Kayleigh watched Taylor start eating again and she picked the sipper cup off of the floor, setting it on Taylor’s high chair. She looked over to her youngest daughter, Laynie and she smiled, getting a cute, gummy grin in return.
Laynie just turned five month old and Kayleigh was falling more and more in love with her each and every day. She’d love the girls no matter what, but her love only got stronger for them. Kayleigh walked over to the table, where Laynie was sitting in her bouncer chair, and she kissed the baby’s mouth lightly. “Hi, Monkey… You wanna go to the park? You can go to the park with Mommy and Sissy. Maybe we’ll see someone we know,” she said. Laynie kicked her feet and giggled, tangling her hands in Kayleigh’s hair. After Kayleigh receive a sloppy kiss on the cheek, she laughed lightly and untangled Laynie’s chubby hands from her hair.
“Mommy, I all done.” Kayleigh turned to Taylor and looked at her plate for a few seconds. “Okay,” she said. “Let me see your hands.” Taylor held her hands out and Kayleigh ran her hands over them to make sure they weren’t sticky. She took Taylor out of her high chair and kissed her cheek before standing her up. “Go get your shoes and Mommy will put them on.” Kayleigh turned back to Laynie as Taylor ran out of the room, and she picked up the infant carrier that was on one of the kitchen chairs and sat it on the table. She quickly and carefully got Laynie into the carrier and buckled her up before putting a binky in her mouth, just as Taylor ran back into the room. “I got shoes,” Taylor said.
Kayleigh picked Taylor up and sat her on the table, and put her shoes on before standing her back up on the floor. “Alright, you ready?” she asked. “Yeah, we ready.” Kayleigh picked up Laynie’s carrier and followed Taylor to the front door. She grabbed her keys and a diaper bag, and opened the door. Once she got the girls in the car, they headed towards the park. They got there within ten minutes, and Kayleigh got Laynie in her stroller. Kayleigh walked Taylor over to a small playground and she sat on a bench, turning Laynie’s stroller towards her, putting her foot on the foot rest, to keep the stroller still. She watched Taylor play for a few seconds and then looked at Laynie as she started fussing.
Taking Laynie out of the stroller, she kissed her cheek lightly, sitting her on her leg to face her. “What’s the matter, Monkey?” she asked, before looking towards Taylor. “Bug, don’t throw sand, Honey; you’ll get it in other kids’ eyes.” “I no throw sand, Mommy,” Taylor said. “Thank you.” Kayleigh looked back to Laynie and she sighed lightly, getting a receiving blanket from the diaper bag. She laid Laynie in her arms and put the blanket over her lightly, making sure she wasn’t exposing herself as she lifted her shirt and unclipped her bra. Once Laynie stopped crying and started eating, Kayleigh laid the blanket over her shoulder and sprawled it over Laynie so she wasn’t showing anything.tagged open words 623 notes i know it sucks ):
